Our Troop holds an 
exciting day of racing each year to celebrate the craftsmanship, design and speed of Pinewood Derby cars. Trailmen and invited guests (with a little help from parents) create their own race car out of a standard kit wood block. It’s a great way to start learning about simple wood skills, hobbies and sportsmanship. And seeing the cars in action is a ton of fun!
This event is a highlight of the Troop calendar where families are invited to attend.
The Derby is also open to Heritage Christian Academy or boys from Overland Park/Olathe/surrounding communities in Jr. K – 3rd grade to check out Trail Life. Please sign-up to reserve a kit using the link below.
